Ahhh... Epcot, my favorite park... sometimes I wish it'd stay the same... World of Motion, Horizons, Kitchen Kabaret... but I can understand that things need to be improved... I think that the next theme park Disney builds should be Yesterland... all the old rides and shows... yeah... that'd be great... er... sorry, I'm dreaming again.
Epcot! A good theme park to take two days to do, since it is basically made up of two worlds, Futureworld and World Showcase. When I got there, the first thing I did (after mailing postcards) was to buy a World Showcase Passport. It's a real good idea if you're up for some exploring or if you have kids. It makes a great personalized souvenir, too. ...imaaaaaginaaation...
German Oktoberfest! At one, I went to the fountain and waited for Mo and when he got there, we went to the World Showcase. We started in Mexico, taking the boat ride there, and getting my passport validated. When we got to China, we ate at the Nine Dragons restaurant and after we passed by Germany, we made reservations for the Biergarten, making sure we'd participate in the Oktoberfest that was going on. By the time we got to Canada, we had about 30 minutes to make our reservations back in Germany, so we just kept walking back around the circle. The Biergarten was a very good place to eat, especially since it was all-you-can-eat! I piled up the sausage and saurkraut and roast beef.. mmmmmm... and, of course, they put on a show, which was very entertaining. We talked with the other people sharing our table and very coincidentally, the couple at the other end of it was from Macon, Georgia as well!
