Other residents of my apartment building became my friends as well. Pavla, a coworker from the Czech Republic, was on the same floor and another coworker, Denise, lived on the floor below me. However, two of the residents across the way in room 2512 became good friends of all of us.

Emily (left) and Jen (right). They always stopped by to see what we were doing, to hang out with us, or from where the loud music was coming... I still chat with Jen, although she's in Boston, thanks to the Internet! That's Jen and myself in our graduation attire.
