In between productions, I like to dine and hang out at the Brown Derby, or "BD" as I call it. I see all my old friends there and I can make new contacts with Producers and Directors. My friend and I were seated in the usual spot where I could get a nice glimpse of the entire room and its populous. We enjoyed the Cobb Salad as it was prepared in front of us and the music coming from the piano at the other end of the room filled the room with the latest sounds from Glenn Miller and his Orchestra.
I partook of the tenderloin while my companion enjoyed her tuna seared in sesame seeds.
Next time you're there, check out my caricature on the wall...
It's next to my booth.
